Early Life and Career

Julian Nagelsmann's journey to becoming the German national team head coach began in Landsberg am Lech, Germany, on July 23, 1987. A talented footballer, he played in the youth academies of FC Augsburg and 1860 Munich before a knee injury forced him to retire early at the age of 20. Undeterred, Nagelsmann transitioned into coaching, quickly rising through the ranks of the Hoffenheim youth setup.

Rise to Prominence

In 2016, at the age of 28, Nagelsmann was appointed manager of Hoffenheim's first team. His innovative and attacking style of play earned him widespread recognition, and he led the team to a Champions League berth in his second season.
