The wife of Senator JD Trump's newly announced running mate certainly has the credentials.

A corporate litigator at a prestigious San Francisco law firm, Usha Vance is the daughter of Indian immigrants. She graduated from Yale Law School and has worked at several top law firms before joining her current firm. Vance is also active in the Republican Party and has served on the boards of several conservative organizations.

Vance and her husband, JD Vance, have three children. They live in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Usha Vance's previous voting history shows that she voted as a Democrat at least once while living in Connecticut. However, she has since registered as a Republican and has voted for Republican candidates in recent elections.
