Carlos Alcaraz Defeats Felix Auger-Aliassime at Indian Wells

Spanish prodigy claims victory in straight sets

Alcaraz's winning streak continues

Indian Wells, California - In a dominant performance, Carlos Alcaraz defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime in straight sets 6-3, 6-4 at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells on Sunday. The victory marks Alcaraz's first win against Auger-Aliassime and extends his current winning streak to 22 matches.

Alcaraz, the defending champion in Indian Wells, showed his class throughout the match, breaking Auger-Aliassime's serve three times and winning 76% of points on his first serve. The Spaniard used his powerful forehand and aggressive baseline play to put pressure on his opponent from the start.

Auger-Aliassime, the sixth seed in the tournament, struggled to find his rhythm against Alcaraz's relentless attack. The Canadian had his chances, but he was unable to convert his break points and ultimately succumbed to Alcaraz's dominance.

With this victory, Alcaraz advances to the semifinals of Indian Wells, where he will face either Taylor Fritz or Miomir Kecmanovic. The Spaniard is on track to defend his title and continue his ascent in the world rankings.
